Wisdom Matters
Wisdom for Wellbeing
Here you will find Wisdom, for Wisdom truly matters. Wisdom is knowing – knowing so well you can access it when you need it –
- What to say/do and what not to
- When to say/do it and when not to
- How to say/do it and how not to
- With whom to say/do it and with whom not to
- Having the right intentions to say/do it
- Being aware of the impact of saying/doing it – on yourself and others
- Having options of actions after saying/doing it
- Using knowledge, experience, discernment, understanding and intuition
- Gathering information for further options in the future
*If you want to grow in wisdom, spend time with the wise."
Proverbs 13:20 (The Passion Translation)
"Wisdom is knowing the greatest goal in any situation, and the best way to achieve that goal”.
John Piper from "The Great Work of the Only Wise God"
"My child, never drift off course from these two goals for your life: to walk in wisdom and to discover your purpose. Don’t ever forget how they empower you. For they strengthen you inside and out and inspire you to do what’s right; you will be energized and refreshed by the healing they bring. They give you living hope to guide you, and not one of life’s tests will cause you to stumble."
King Solomon
Proverbs 3: 21-23 TPT
The Way of Wisdom
To welcome and walk with Wisdom is a way of compassionately and courageously caring for ourselves and those we love.
For Wisdom provides so much more than we think or expect – it is our strong, secure and peaceful foundation.
Wisdom supplys us deep roots to draw nourishment from our values, priorities and dreams.
Wisdom creates space in our lives: space to connect with ourselves, with self- awareness, understanding and kindness enabling us to choose the best way forward.
Wisdom opens up possibilities so beautiful and refreshing we take time to pause in wonder.
Wisdom produces and protects the rich harvest of discernment so we know what is true, right and good.
Wisdom is the key to our treasure trove of insight, intuition and inner strength, empowering self-trust and confidence.
Insight is seeing and comprehending the complexity and unpredictability inherent in human behaviour and relationships.
Intuition is a deeper perception and understanding operating beyond conscious thought, so we gain knowledge and make decisions based on our authentic selves.
Inner strength comes from self-acceptance, self-compassion and self-trust, resourcing us to meet our needs so we can be of service to others.
Wisdom empowers us to face challenges, conquer our fears and persevere through difficulties.
Wisdom brings humility to recognise what we do not know, when we need help, who can give us the help we need, and why it is important in our lives.
Wisdom releases benefits of sound judgements, healthy relationships and a more equitable, caring world for us all.
